Rules of Conduct
Introduction
Applies to all online platforms, communications, and in-person gatherings.
The Naturist Business Network (NBN) exists to support ethical naturism, promote professional collaboration, and build a safe, inclusive, and affirming community for all participants. These Rules of Conduct are designed to uphold the values of body autonomy, mutual respect, and accountability—whether we are interacting online or face-to-face.
Ethical Naturism
• Nudity is always non-sexual in NBN spaces (online and in-person). Any sexual behavior, suggestion, or innuendo is prohibited.
• Body acceptance is essential: no body shaming, commentary on appearance, or unsolicited health or fitness advice.
• Respect personal boundaries—physical, emotional, and digital. Consent is mandatory for any form of touch, contact, or communication.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
• NBN is committed to uplifting underrepresented voices, especially BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and plus-size naturists.
• Discrimination of any kind—including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, or ageism—is not tolerated.
• Use people’s correct names and pronouns. Repeated misgendering is considered harassment.
• In all content and conversation, prioritize inclusive language and challenge exclusionary narratives.
Photography, Video, and Media Use
• No photos or recordings—online or in person—without clear, written consent from everyone involved.
• Sharing content from NBN events (digital or live) requires approval from NBN and the featured individuals.
• NBN’s official media must celebrate diverse bodies and avoid exploitation, objectification, or tokenism.
Sexual Harassment and Misconduct
• No sexual remarks, gestures, DMs, or innuendos are allowed—online or in person.
• Do not comment on anyone’s body in a sexual or objectifying way.
• Unsolicited nudity in digital spaces (DMs, group chats, etc.) is strictly prohibited—even in a naturist context. All photos shared within NBN spaces—whether online or at events—must be directly related to business, education, advocacy, or the representation of ethical naturism. Content that is purely personal or lacks context related to professional collaboration, naturist values, or community impact should not be posted. This helps ensure we maintain the integrity of NBN as a space for intentional networking, representation, and growth within the naturist business community.
• If someone expresses discomfort or says no, respect that without argument or justification.
Safety and Consent
• Consent is not assumed, even in naturist spaces. Always ask before initiating touch, close conversation, or photography.
• At in-person events, follow all safety and emergency protocols.
• Drug or alcohol use must not impair behavior or judgment. Intoxication is never an excuse for breaking rules.
• Do not engage in manipulative, coercive, or abusive behavior—online or offline.
Respectful Communication (Online & Offline
• Speak with kindness, clarity, and care. Avoid interrupting, dominating, or demeaning others.
• No trolling, doxxing, gaslighting, or tone policing.
• Private messages must reflect the same conduct as public interactions.
• In online forums: no spamming, self-promotion without permission, or inflammatory content.
• Debates must remain respectful—no personal attacks, dogpiling, or shaming.
Business and Professional Conduct
• Be transparent about your intentions when connecting with others.
• No pressuring, scheming, or exploiting community relationships for profit.
• All business partnerships or collaborations in the NBN must be rooted in mutual respect and equity.
• Maintain confidentiality. Do not share private conversations or group discussions without permission.

Depending on the severity and context of the violation, one or more of the following actions may be taken:
Tier 1: First-Time or Low-Impact Violations

• Reports will be reviewed promptly by a designated Accountability Team trained in trauma-informed and equity-centered practices.
• The harmed party will be centered in the resolution process, including having a say in next steps.
Community Agreements
